In this Saivian scam review, l will be sharing with you who the founders are, the business model, compensation plan and why l think it is an out right scam.
Either someone has kindly requested you to join Saivian.net to earn commissions off your $125 per 28 days payments. …or maybe you are now wondering what you got yourself into …. read on.
One of the visitors to Avert Scams.com informed me that people were deserting in numbers, a grocery based MLM called Life Tree World and were joining the Saivian 20% cash back program. The reasons why people are abandoning LTW, include failure to deliver products on time in the correct ordered quantities, high turnover rate by affiliates and unresponsive support.
Now, l started wondering what this new opportunity was all about and decided to check it out for myself.
What is Saivian MLM?
It is a 20% cash back program founded by the CEO John Sheehan at the end of 2015, with Steve Gewecke as the marketing manager and Kevin Marino as the Master Affiliate. Bob Doran is the Communications Director and Patricio Diez is the Latin Marketing Director.
The program promises shoppers a 20% money back for their shopping and travelling if they meet set conditions. The cash back is based on your selected top 10 retail outlets.
Honestly, l don’t have any problems with legitimate cash back programs and only got interested after learning that Saivian was an MLM utilizing network marketing to suck people into the scheme. This is not surprising though because l have reviewed MLMs that are based on selling coffee, books and even upmarket chocolate.
MLMs can literally pick on any product irrespective of its quality or value.
How Does Saivian Work?
You pay $125 every 28 days to become an active member. Select top 10 retail shops and the payment method you will use for purchases (for receipt verification purposes). You will then submit scanned or photo copied receipts for purchases exceeding $5 up to a maximum of $300 each week. You will get your cash back once in 30 days.
You need to purchase products worth $625 using your approved payment method just to break even.
You will also earn from recruiting other people under you (down-line), minimum 3 active members. The reason why Saivian is called an called an MLM.
When l checked traffic to the website and took a screen shot below, l realized that the traffic is on a downward spiral. This is not a healthy sign for a recruitment based MLM.
Saivian Products and Services.
Retail Shopping Membership (RSM): 20% cash back for shopping from $5 up to $300. Only for US based members. You have the potential to save $1,375 annually in shopping provided you buy the maximum amount of groceries and all your receipts qualify for a refund.
Global Travel Membership (GTM): 20% cash back on travel from $50 to $3000. Cash back balances expire in 30 days. This option is available globally.
Payments are processed every 30 days and can be cashed out in $125 to $250 increments.
Maximum cash back is $3000 per year.
Below is how much you will get paid for your recruitment efforts.
Saivian Compensation Plan.
To earn the listed amounts you must maintain 3 paid up members below you and pay your $125 without fail.
Founder position – $5 per day (3 active recruits).
VIP Founder -$20 per day (12 recruits).
Elite Founder – $30 per day (39 recruits).
1 Star Founder – $50 per day (80 recruits).
2 Star Founder – $100 per day (150 recruits).
3 Star Founder – $150 per day ( 300 recruits).
4 Star Founder – $200 per day ( 500 recruits).
5 Star Founder – $300 per day (750 recruits).
Ambassador – $500 per day (1000 recruits).
Gold Ambassador – $750 per day ( 2,000 plus recruits).
Platinum Ambassador – $1,000 per day (4,000 recruits).
Diamond Ambassador – $2,000 per day (6,000 recruits).
Presidential Ambassador – $3,000 per day (8,000 recruits).
Can you see what is WRONG with this compensation plan? It only rewards people for RECRUITING others to join the program and they are in turn rewarded for doing the same. The more people you recruit, the more money you will make. Remember, pyramid schemes operate without offering any tangiable product to participants.
The compensation plan is totally divorced from the cash back program. An independent pyramid scheme is being operated under the disguise of a cash back program. You can literally join Saivian and make money by RECRUITING new people without claiming any cash back.
Yes, these are just figures on paper to make you feel warm inside and part with your cash. Such schemes will only prosper for a few months and once negative reviews of Saivian pop-up everywhere on internet … it becomes difficult to recruit. People are already writing negative reviews on popular platforms such as Money Saving Expert Forum.
Once that happens, it stagnates and those at the bottom will start cancelling their membership leading to the pyramid imploding.
Saivian Refund Policy.
There are no refunds and you can not process a bank charge back since payments are made through the purchasing of Saivian Passes. These can be purchased using an app or funds from your ‘cash back refunds‘.
The company devised a way to benefit from affiliates’ claims by creating a parallel scheme funded by cash backs.
You can however cancel your membership 1 business day prior to your membership renewal date.
As you can see from the screen shot, Saivian is NOT registered with Better Business Bureau. It is not compulsory though to register your business with BBB, but most legit businesses do.
There are complaints against billing and products issues. The complaints are starting to roll in and BBB reported that it was not able to locate the company to resolve issues. So, you are on your own if you join this scheme.
Is Saivian a Pyramid Scheme, Scam , or Legit MLM?
Well, as you can clearly deduce from this review of Saivian, there are no ‘real products’ being sold to anyone which is typical of a Pyramid Scheme or Ponzi Scheme. The money you are paid is from people you recruit into the scheme and must also do the same. The 20% cash back is just a disguise and is not in any way linked to how you make money with Saivian. You can make thousands without claiming a single cash back.
Yes, Saivian has got a legit 20% cash back program used as a front for the Pyramid Scheme. The scheme is totally independent of the legit cash back program except that you can fund it with money you get from your claims.
Earnings or rewards must be based on the values of purchases or amounts cashed back NOT only on recruitment efforts. Since there is no real product exchanging hands hence, Saivian is not even a legal MLM.
As usual, it is the people who have no idea of what they are getting themselves into who will suffer. Right now, those at the top are already targeting their next MLM which is in the pre-launch phase. Once, this Ponzi Scheme collapses, they move on and offer their new affiliates to join them as their down-line.
The circle continues….
Greed can not be tamed. Foolish flies follow the coffin into the grave.
