What is OMG Machines – Review?
If you are wondering what does OMG stand for, it stands for One Man Group? Of course l also thought that it stands for ‘Oh My God’.
Its founders are Mike Long of the crumbling Bring The Fresh affiliate program and Greg Morrison. Its products include OMG SEO, Marketing and ranking You Tube videos. These are delivered using MP3, Videos, Webinars and e-books.
It is for total affiliate newbies, super affiliate marketers and anyone in between.
Does OMG machines work?
This review is a case study: Can l out rank OMG Machines affiliates paying $699/month or $4 999 using my $47/month or $359/year affiliate marketing training?
If you visited this page because it appeared on organic (natural) search results then OMG is not worth it …. for that price. The machines are probably a bit rusty and not working well.
I got disappointed after watching a 2-hour video on how to rank websites and videos on Google. The method was said to be unique and out of this world. For 30 minutes, the trainer explained how to check and evaluate competition for keywords.
This is how it was explained:
1. First search for a keyword of a recently launched product.
2. Search for allinurl:(your keyword).
3. Search for allintitle:(your keyword).
4. Use the Google keyword soup (suggestions) to find what else people are searching for. Use the method above to evaluate each keyword competition.
You then use the results to compare competition and whether you can rank for the keywords.
Common, OMG machines in this day and age who would want to use such a cumbersome method? Is this what l get for my $699?
Yes, this method works. It is probably why you landed on this page. That is how l also carry out my keyword research BUT l can explain it to you in 5 minutes or less.
This is how l did it. I logged into the affiliate marketing website l use.
1. Clicked on the free keyword tool and typed ‘OMG Machines’ and hit ‘Search’.
2. Checked the completion for the keyword ‘is OMG a scam’. Boom! …. only 29 competing websites. What a piece of cake …… OMG affiliates where are you!
In case, you don’t like to join my recommended affiliate training program for free you can use the keyword revealer.
1. Just click on ‘keyword tool‘, type in your keyword and click ‘Submit’.
2. Visit any keyword of your choice and click on ‘Evaluate’ under the Keyword difficulty column.
Is OMG worth it?
All that OMG video was explaining in 30 minutes as an unheard of method of carrying out keyword research can be done in 2 minutes or less. It’s like the webinar was just explaining how the Keyword Revealer works.
Through a click of a button, this cloud based software shows you weaknesses in the top ten ranking websites. Not entering the main keyword in the URL, Title and Description just like the OMG super affiliates are doing. Better still, you can carry out free limited keyword searches and evaluations per day.
Is OMG worth your $4 999? When this very post is already on Google’s first page for a number of OMG related keywords in 3 days. The second place is occupied by another friend of mine who also went through Wealthy Affiliate training see screen shot below.
It is like spending 10 minutes explaining how to defrost chicken on a stove. When a Microwave with auto defrost is behind you… lol.
OMG Machines Price, Software and Up-sells.
This is one of the most hyped program that l have ever reviewed. The hype, testimonials and income claims are all intended to push you towards purchasing the next up-sell.
OMG Machines Commission Conspiracy (OMG CC) $45.
How to build quick ranking websites using free blogs on Squidoo platform. Introduction to Amazon affiliate marketing. I used the platform before it was hit by Google Panda update in 2013.
There was chaos in on the platform though in its bid to clear duplicate, spam and promotional content. I left the platform empty handed and headed for Hub pages where l started publishing new articles. Later, Squidoo was acquired by Hubpages due to under performance. Most people lost their content and rankings during the migration period.
Luckily l stumbled upon one of the best affiliate marketing community online and built my own business. Now l own my own Estate (website) and flowers (the content). Better still, l can sell what l want and keep all the profit.
You will also get software to create mass backlinks to your Squidoo website when you purchase this product. Both Squidoo and Google hate this method of link building. Greg Morrison SEO training on how to rank You Tube videos is included.
You will still have to share profits with Squidoo and still honor your OMG payments.
OMG Machines Conspiracy Up-sell $99.
As usual, if OMG CC did not work for you …. you need MORE training. If sharing profits with Squidoo is painful, let us teach you how to create your own website. (Why then were you wasting my time, breaking my back writing content and posting it on a platform l do not own?
Anyway, you will learn how to (if you are a Newbie);
• Carry out niche research.
• buy domains.
• set up your WordPress website on your new hosting site.
• Search Engine Optimization and how to get ranked by search engines.
• Basics of link building.
The link blasting software is also provided … a sure way to get blacklisted by Google. I doubt if the methods do work. OMG affiliates websites are nowhere to be seen on Google’s front page.
Lots of case studies and recorded interviews with super affiliates. The usual, this is what we did and earned thousands of dollars ….. you can also do it stuff. You will also get introduced to the Guru mentality ….. money is in the list. Yes it is. If you want to bombard people with up-sells, down-sells and endless offers just like OMG itself.
Besides, you can take this same course for free.
OMG End Game $1 100.
If you tasted a bit of success with the standard training in the previous packages. You are ripe for another mega up-sell. This is also mostly rehashed stuff and a few nuggets of course. How to use screen cast and You Tube live streaming to land yourself on the 1st page of You Tube.
No Holds Barred (OMG NHB)– Project X $4,999.
OMG mike long and Greg Morrison will provide with One-on-One coaching VIA Skype, Greg’s private email and interactive webinars. You also join others who have sacrificed their hard earned cash on Face Book and offer each other solace. There are lots of testimonials and income disclosures to make you fish out your credit card.
From my research, this is just a combination of all the low tier products, rehashed and more fluff added. You will also learn where and how to purchase expired domains that are already indexed.
Time for Mike and Greg to go for a once off retirement bonus.
Inside my fixed $359/year program there are NO up-sells or offers whatsoever. I only went through half of the training (in 2 years) not taking into account weekly webinars and new tutorials. This makes me wonder, how long it will take me to consume staff worth $4,999 and still find time for implementation?
With little research, you can even find free done for you affiliate website.
Is OMG Machines a Scam?
To be honest, OMG machines is not a scam – it is just a hyped and overpriced program with lots of fluff. Do you really need two hours to explain that videos get ranked on Youtube faster if you upload them via the streaming option. Add some back links and embed the videos on websites you own. You can get such training on Udemy for $10 if you wait for discounted prices.
These course are rehashed to the extent that you can hardly tell the difference between them. The disorganized training also add on to the confusion.
However, l have heard that there are NO REFUNDS after purchasing the product as promised. If it is true. Then OMG is a scam.
So, would you pay OMG $699/month or Wealthy Affiliate $359 for the whole year?
Do not take my word for it. You can try out Wealthy Affiliate for free – NO account details required. If you pay for Premium Membership $47/month or $359/year – NO up-sells or Offers …. EVER!
Bonus: If you use any link on this website to join Wealthy Affiliate on Free Membership;
- You will have no bared opportunity to test drive ALL Premium membership training and tools your first 7 days.
- You will hook up with me. l will show you how to navigate the website. One-on-One coaching and l will offer you ALL the support you need.
- l will introduce you to WA founder Kyle and Carson who will offer you support when you need it most — first 7 days.
If you join WA using any other website, all the best. It will be difficult to hook up though among half a million active members.
Do you think OMG is worth it? Share your honest opinion. l have done my part.
OMG!!! …LITERALLY!!! Great articlae and very well put. many thanks for the info, I know who I will be saying away from…..LOVE the " defrosting a chicken"…as a married with children adult that is a perfect metaphor for somethingthat is part of everyday life for me. Totally speaks volumes of why to stay away from OMG, besides thatthier prices alone are crazy! THANK YOU for this awesome article.
Thank you Donna for the words of encoragement and sharing your thoughts on OMG Machines. You will ne literally paying for the hype NOT the results. No one commands Google on which websites or videos to rank.
I just canceled my membership at OMG Today. To be completely honest, one of my worst investments I’ve ever made. Their training videos are mostly an hour long with 90% of that time, is of them telling you stories and not focusing on the actual training. The webinars are not really helpful and they put you in the mindset of a get rich quick but adds no value to that with the training. I think of time as money so when i watched these webinars clicking through almost every training video within the month i was there, these guys seriously do more bragging then actual teaching. Please please I do not want anyone to make the same mistake as i did. There are lessons within OMG that can be found either free on the internet or you can find a program that is WAY cheaper than them.
Thank you Tony for sharing your experience with OMG. Unfortunately, you wasted one of the valuable assets in life … your time. l totally agree with you that most of the content in videos is fluff, brags about themselves with testimonials at the end as social proof. Add on, winding explanations of simple concepts. It is all about how much the OMG gurus are making and how powerful their system is. Unfortunately, people want results yet in reality there is nothing to show. People fall for they hype and leave in dozens as they realize that they were sold snake oil.
I was going to join OMG tomorrow and I see you said you cancelled…..they said you CAN’T cancel. But you did? Thank you I really hope you answer me…(linda.allan@aol.com you can email me).
He lied because you can not cancel. There is a no refund.
I totally disagree. I was a member at Wealthy affiliate University for 2 years and my best months were 500-700. Ive learned more in 4 months at OMG, and am hitting 3K per month pretty consistently now. The fact that you (and a previous commenter) think the videos dont have anything but fluff is odd. He must not have gotten into the training, and you must have never been a member there. Sure, the webinars where they are trying to bring people in are pretty hyped, but the training inside is great. Another thing I find odd is all these reviews are from sites that look identical, leading back to Wealthy Affiliate. I guess it is easy to lose objectivity when you are trying to earn an affiliate commission.
As for a previous commenter, he should probably find another thing to try because it won't work for him no matter what. People that lay the blame on anything but themselves are destined to fail.
It is the training from Wealthy Affiliate University that is now making you 3K per month. l bet if you had started at OMG you would be searching for websites out ranking yours and leaving spiteful comments as you are doing. Yes, if it takes 2 hours to explain a concept that can be explained in 10 minutes the rest is fluff. Wealthy Affiliate rocks and is FREE to join and you can keep your free membership for ever. You found this website because l successfully out ranked yours and that of you bosses. Its you who is obviously destined to ‘FAIL’ after you have realized that OMG does NOT own Google. Time to go back and watch more videos and buy up-sells inside OMG. Maybe there are more new ways to rank on first page of Google they have discovered worth 1 billion dollars… lol.
Totally agree with Josh, i ranked my SEO agency website in 2 months and outranked all the agencies on my town after 3 months at OMG.
So can you with any other course without donating your money. OMG does not own search engines and you are here because l out ranked it… lol.
If you really know anything about SEO, and how to analyze competition, you’ll see that no SEO has been done on the OMG training site (main site) mainly because they don’t need to rank it because they only do training there. The methods they teach are the ones used to rank each coach and students money sites.
FYI, you know nothing about OMG, even this review is total BS. OMG is not One Man Group dummy, it’s One Man Gang.
Feeling sorry for all the people you have misled all this time.
If you are doing well with OMG why are you searching for OMG scam reviews? Are you wondering if you got yourself into a scam? Or maybe you were screwed up by Google’s recent Possum algorithm update which ruined you rankings for local SEO websites? Are you just pissed off that your website has been out ranked for OMG Review by someone who paid $369 for SEO training while you are paying double that figure each month? Have you noticed how desperate OMG affiliates are to get ranked on Google so that they can suck people into OMG for a commission. Look at how they try to rank websites using keyword domains such as OMGmachinesreview2015, OMGreview2016, theOMGmachine, OneManGang.org. If those are the methods you are taught, they are total BS. Google is now smarter than that. That is why you are here venting your frustration in public. l am sorry, you can only whine and live with it.
I wish read this before I bought it. Tai Lopez just released a social media course that actual yields result. Couldn’t buy because I bought this and I can’t get a refund. (Sigh)
l am sorry to hear that.
Correction: Auto correct lol. “One Man Group”, not gang. ~Abigail R.
LOL
Honestly, NHB is black hat SEO filled. Quick rankings, play the game with Google and hope they don’t get bit. Not worth $7K. Not worth $3K. Maybe $2K because they have their moments. But dang, $7K???
Check Kotton’s website, Fletcher’s site, SEO audit and you’ll see black hat SEO at work. I’m going to throw them both off the first spot, just cause I can 🙂
You are spot on. There is hardly anything ‘new’ around the web. It is the same rhetoric you find everywhere. So far l have discovered that most courses teach the same subjects and only differ on how they suggest you do it.
1) Local SEO – Buy a country based domain. Write posts with /city/niche or keyword. Buy links or build your PBNs to point to your money site. The rest of the training is on how to create the silo linking structure, hide PBN foot prints and all the crap about sending bulk social signals. Create schema markups etc. Embed some videos and submit video sitemap to Google. You can rank and rent to clients or offer clients services for a fee. Unfortunately, Google has cracked its whip on these. Just ask the the question ‘How do you intent to rank my website?‘ Don’t forget to record the comedy.
2) YouTube videos – keyword research, enter keyword in title, description and tags. Upload video using live streaming. Blast a few links and views etc. Rent out the videos or send and tracked calls. Lead generation.
3) Dominate foreign niches – use Google translate. Hire a freelancer to translate or write articles. Monetize with CPA.
4) FB or Bing Ads – lead magnet, collect email and you are likely to end up at ‘clickfunnels’ paying for one upsell after the other.
I am so excited to be working with you. I lost faith in Cody of clever investors promoting OMG. His programs are just up sells also. OMG scam alert!
