Job killing Review – Scam or Legit?
In this review of Job Killing by Brad Campbell and Dan Klein l tell you what it is all about and you will tell me if it is worth the price. These high priced local Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) courses are not new. l once reviewed a similar program called OMG Machines (costs $7 000).
l outranked OMG websites for a couple of keywords and got some bashing from people who had spend thousands of dollars on the training. They could not imagine how a $7 000 course can be outranked by a $359 per year course which l reviewed here.
Unfortunately, Uncle Google have started downgrading such skeleton websites targeting easy to rank local niche websites. There are many people on Facebook wondering why their local website rankings are falling.
The answer is obvious, there are too many people rehashing the same stuff all over internet including platforms such as Udemy. When that happens, Uncle Google gets wind of it and brings out another local SEO ‘Penguin’ to clean up the messy.
l once went through a similar course on Udemy going for $50, but we were ranking videos and renting them out. These were just five minute videos and if everything fails, there was nothing much to loose.
Job Killing Training
Do not get me wrong, l am 100% in support of ANY program that recommended creating your own business online (websites). It is what it takes to create reliable and predictable income online.
The training involves choosing local niches targeting specific geographical areas for example ‘plumping in Plumbridge’. These local niche keywords are indeed easy to rank to rank for in search engines. Once your website gets ranked, you can send leads to local plumbers who will pay you for your efforts.
You can use call tracking software to record the number of leads you have send to each plumber and even record the conversation between your lead and the business owner. As in Cost Per Action (CPA) offers, you can also send traffic to the local business website and get paid if they complete forms or request for a commission.
The training is also comprised of Job Killing case study videos which shows you real life examples of to go about setting your local SEO business websites.
Examples of Job Killing niches, include carpet cleaning, car towing, snow removal, garage repairs and so forth.
Job Killing Blackhat
More often than not, such training programs use black-hat techniques to deceive Google and get ranked on the first page. For starters, Blackhat techniques include bulk link building, creating fake social signals to your website and at times linking your website to your own Private Blog Network (PBN).
Blackhat techniques are obviously frowned upon by search engines such as Uncle Google. These actions can ruin your website overnight and at worst can get it de-indexed by popular search engines. Once your website is ‘sand boxed‘, it’s over.
What l Liked About Job Killing
- Creating websites is one of the best business model of earning money online.
- The concept works because local keywords are easy to rank for.
- Training is easy to understand and straight to the point.
- The concept is result based, create ad rank then rent. Easy to convince potential clients.
Job Killing Complaints
First lets hear one of the complaints from Job Killing Brad himself. Imagine working hard to rank a video and you can’t find a client to rent it out to. All the effort will go up the smoke.
- As Brad said, some clients don’t pay you yet your payments to Job Killing are guaranteed.
- The price is too high if l still have to put so much work in building websites and contacting potential clients.
- Google is ‘sand boxed‘ my local websites – it’s a new algorithm rolled out by Uncle Google and hitting hard on such websites.
- Saturation – yes there is no potential saturation only if there was a system for allocating towns and niches. We all target cities in the big 5 countries don’t we?
- Geographical limitations – there is always a ‘fixed’ number of potential clients in any given area.
- Coaches are professional sales reps – the so called coaches like in any high priced course, are actually sales reps seeking to push you to the down-end of the funnel.
- You must also out rank YouTube videos which can be a pain if you meet people who know how to rank such videos.
Job Killing Program Cost/Price
#1 This is what will put you off so it is not easily accessible. You must book a ‘coach’ (trained sales person) first who will tell you the cost and close the sale on you. From what l gather, it costs between $5 000 – $7 000. Success is inevitable, you will work your but off to recover such a hefty amount of money.
#2 Domain Purchase and Hosting – depends on where you host your websites.
#3 Call forwarding software – around $10/month.
Job Killing Scam, Pyramid Scheme or Legit Program?
When l heard Brad Campbell’s voice, l remembered one of the MLM Gurus who owned Lazymlm.com and was co-owner of MultipleStreams.org. This same guy was also one of the promoters of the MLM (Empower Network) that got me burnt the first time and lead to the creation of AvertScams.
If it is the same person, proceed with caution. Anyone schooled in MLM, knows how to bring in trained sales persons disguised as coaches to close deals on high priced products. They are also experts in pushing you into purchasing endless up-sells. l once reviewed an high value product based MLM which you pay a $1 to join and then hired sales persons called coaches will come in and close deals worth more than $50 000 on you.
Otherwise, this is a legitimate course that train you how to build your local SEO websites, rank them in Google and rent them out. You really need a deep pocket though. What if you just do it yourself with the information shared in this review and various free training they provide without parting with $7 000? (Just thinking aloud).
For now l will stick to my $49 per month course which provides me with internet marketing training, hosting for 25 websites, keyword research tool and live chat support 24/7. With NO Up-sells EVER.

Isn’t job killing a scam
l don’t think its a scam. Just too much hype. It is also way overpriced, a reason why they hire coaches (salespersons) to close the sale on you.
