The Achieve Community co-founders are Troy Barnes and Kristi Johnson who promise milk and honey if you part with as little as $50. The Achieve Community matrix is said to be capable of changing $50 to $400 (800% increase) in an unspecified space of time. In reality, Achieve is a make money online opportunity with out any products to sell, a controlled pyramid or ponzi scheme at its best. Lets us hear what Kristi says the Achieve Community is all about in the video below.
The Achieve Community Review.
The video starts with a disclaimer that it is not a;
- get rich quick scheme – in case you do not make a dime over years? l told you so…!
- an investment company.
- It is not a pyramid scheme …. my foot!
For starters here is the definition of a pyramid scheme;
Remember the Achieve Community is an ‘opportunity‘ …… there are no ‘products‘.
There is no ‘real investment‘ ….. because it is not an ‘investment company’.
She goes on to say that ‘you make more money if you share this opportunity with others‘ in other words by recruiting other unsuspecting people into the scheme. A main feature of pyramid schemes.
Then she throws in the bomb; how much you earn depends on your ‘position‘ in the pyramid. She refers people who join under you as ‘down-lines’…. forgetting that she said it was not a pyramid scheme.
l am left wondering which definition of a ‘pyramid scheme’ the co-founders of Achieve Community Troy Barnes and Kristi Johnson are using. Or it is just an insult to the human intellect.
This is not surprising though because they are big idea masterminds behind similar pyramid or ponzi schemes such as Empower Network. Above all they know that if YOU get to know that it is a pyramid scheme you will not join such ‘an an unsustainable business opportunity‘.
The Achieve Community is therefore a matrix or semi-pyramid scheme where you make money by purchasing positions and then wait until the hen lays the golden egg.
So What is the Achieve Community?
Another semi-pyramid by the notorious Multi-Level marketing gurus Troy and Kristi. The two are known for rehashing their collapsed or dysfunctional program features into a new projects. Remember the Pro Matrix Plus, L9, Quanta to name a few.
You heard it from the horse’s mouth – in the video, that it is a Community, ‘a life time income plan‘ and it provide internet marketing training. It promises a whopping 800% return on the money that you invest.
We will see if it leaves up to its definition in this review.
How do you Make Money With the Achieve Community?
It uses the fixed matrix compensation plan – discussed below. You buy a position in the matrix and wait for others to join the matrix below you. When your down-line reaches a certain number of affiliates, you get paid a certain amount according set levels.
When you reach the $200 minimum payout amount, you are encouraged to purchase new positions ….. the more the positions you buy; the more money you can make. l was tempted to say you ‘reinvest‘ the money you get by buying new positions forgetting that it is ‘Not an Investing Company’.
Every position purchase of $50 will get you an advertising banner which you can use to promote other business opportunities or products to the Achieve Community. Probably away to pacify disgruntled members or a way to generate money from ‘real online products’ to sponsor the superficial positions.
The Achieve Community Matrix, a Forced Matrix.
After failing to get a sufficient explanation on how a community providing online internet marketing can guarantee a life time income plan, l had to dig deeper. l visited the Achieve Community You Tube video and as l expected there were regurgitated applause of the scheme by the community members.
One question attracted my attention, below is a snippet of the question and answer from Kristi Johnson.
That’s it, Achieve Community makes money by using a matrix compensation plan. l call this type of scheme a restricted pyramid or ponzi scheme. The bottom line is, it restricts the number of down-lines you can have (either the depth, width or both). They can have two down-lines and a depth of 2 levels (2*2 matrix) depending o the size of company.
You purchase a position for $50 and when your down-line buys 15 positions you get $100, a further 260 positions will earn you another $100. Finally, when an additional 255 positions are purchased, you get the final payment of $200. That is 800% profit.
Wait a minute—– you need people to buy 530 positions before you get all your payments for a single $50 transaction. The 530 positions will need a down-line of 530 × 530 = 280 900 positions to get paid. These 280 900 will need 280 900 × 530 = 148, 877, 000 positions for them to get paid $400 x 148, 877, 000 = $59 550 800 000. Remember members are free to purchase as many positions as they want.
Imagine if a 100 000 members where to purchase and resale 10 positions each?
Here is a bombshell — there is no reputable bank in the world that will accept the hustle of handling such small amounts of deposits and subsequent withdraws. Besides how do you convince a bank that you are legally transacting when you are selling no product but an opportunity called a ‘position‘?
How long do you think the Achieve Community is going to last, if there is no buying and selling of positions or payouts to lucky members? Troy and Kristi knew in advance that when the pyramid collapses, all the money will be locked inside their own account – true to their word, they will have made a life time investment.
True to her word, ‘it is not a get rich quick scheme’ – how much you earn depend on how quick your down-line quickly fills up and you achieve the payment threshold. It can take weeks, months or even years depending on how fast the matrix is getting saturated.
You then get all that is due to you at level 4 and once you are paid your $400 the circle ends. If you choose to stay, then you rejoin the cycle by repurchasing a new position or multiple positions in the scheme for $50 each.
The circle repeats its self until you die —- they don’t call it a lifetime investment for nothing!
The purchase of multiple positions by achieve community affiliates can only benefit the owners of the scheme. It is a recipe for a disaster as members buy hundreds of position banking on the recruiting effort of the group to get down-lines.
Just like in any pyramid scheme those who purchase multiple positions at the beginning are likely to gain in the long run. With time the momentum dies off as less affiliates join down lines and eventually it takes months run into years before you can receive your first $100 dollars.
There are more positions purchased by the old members than new affiliates can purchase. The market has reached saturation…… do not be fooled, the number of people in the world willing to buy into the Achievement Community is not infinite.
Motivation to continue buying positions wears off because of the delay in payments. There goes another matrix pyramid, another hyped scam…….
The secret to earning money in matrix compensation plan is to know when to quit.
After the collapse the Achievement Community matrix founders will be smiling all the way to the bank……. now you know why there is no refund policy or guarantee that you will make any money?
Achieve Community Blogs.
Even with the promised internet marketing training there are a very few blogs promoting this matrix. An obvious weakness of these semi-pyramids – people just wait for affiliate spill overs from those that have reached a payout stage.
So is Achieve Community a Scam.
l have done my research and my part to inform you on how it works. Its entirely up to you to decide on whether you can join the matrix or not.
Troy Barnes video introducing the Achieve Community matrix promises lots of the usual emotion evoking promises of mansions, new cars and all the heaven on earth staff. Typical affiliate scams – avoid such!
Remember the adage ‘Only a foolish fly follows a coffin into the grave‘.

Can l get my money from Achieve Community?
Many factors will be important in determining your actual results and no guarantees are made that you will achieve results similar to ours or anybody else’s, in fact no guarantees are made that you will achieve any results from the ideas and techniques in our materials.
Why not give members a guaranteed 100% return on investment than the unrealistic 800%?—- Just thinking….
l am not sure you will get anything back because the founders of this matrix are aware of incessant refund claims from other pyramids that they are part of. There is no mention of an guaranteed refund.
My advice is, once you join a matrix remain as a member and when you get paid all your money —- hit the tires. Remember a matrix restricts the number of down-lines, so other members’ recruits will eventually ‘spill over’ your way if they have reached their matrix saturation point.
The Colorado Securities Division is now investigating achieve community.
The Securities and Exchange Commission has also turned the heat on the Achieve scam. This is following numerous complaints against the community. The payment processor has been down for months and rumors has it that Kristi and Troy are now on the run.
This is not surprising because all scams start well and once millions are in; technical issues arise.
Another one bites the dust, next……………

Good lucky Garry. Unfortunately, that is how key affiliate marketing scams operate. Recruit thousands of people, reward a few and once they achieve their target — the systems, stop working. As usual, the scam is closed and a new one in a different name is introduced. Watch this space.
